Biography

Dr. Sandeep Laumas serves as Chief Financial Officer & Chief Business Officer at Instil Bio. He served as Board Member at Globavir Biosciences. He serves as Managing Director at Bearing Circle Advisors. He served as a Board member of Invea Therapeutics. He has served as our Chief Financial Officer since February 2021 and our Chief Business Officer since June 2020. He currently serves as a member of the board of directors of 9 Meters Biopharma, Inc. since May 2020 and previously served as the Executive Chairman from January 2014 to April 2020, including as the Chief Executive Officer from February 2019 to April 2020. Dr. Laumas has served as a member of the board of directors and chairman of the audit committee of BioXcel Therapeutics, Inc. since September 2017. Dr. Laumas received his A.B. in chemistry from Cornell University and M.D. from Albany Medical College, and he completed a medical internship at the Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Laumas began his career at Goldman Sachs & Co. in 1996 as an equity analyst in the healthcare investment banking division working on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate finance transactions before transitioning to the healthcare equity research division.
