Biography

Mr. Zaidur Rahman is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Flexbase. Prior to this, Zaid co-founded a San Francisco-based AI startup Volley where we tried to build Google 2.0 starting with learning. The company raised ~$15m from JPMorgan and others but ultimately failed to achieve this audacious technological vision. He is the Co-Founder and serves as General Partner at 305 Ventures. He is also an investor through 305 Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Miami. He is an Angel Investor. Previously, he co-founded and served as Board Member and Chief Executive Officer at Volley Labs. Having collaborated with Pearson, McGraw-Hill, Intel Education, GEMS, Cambridge, and others, He brings to Volley a deep understanding of education as a business. As the founder of Pilot Labs, Inc, He oversaw the financing, design, and sales of Dubai-based adaptive learning platform Pilot to some of the world's most influential academic institutions, including GEMS Education and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). He has engaged in ed-tech policy research for the governments of UAE, Turkey, Australia, and India, and has also worked in private equity, performing diligence and administration at one of the world's largest growth-market private equity firms.
