Biography

Mr. Tym Tombar is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Director at Arcadius Capital Partners. He served as a Board Member at Redemption Oil & Gas. Prior to founding Arcadius and its predecessor, SW Capital Partners, Mr. Tombar was a Houston-based Vice President with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the E&P Capital Group - a multi-asset class, proprietary structured energy investing group - where he led deal teams through sourcing, execution and management of a variety of primary market investments in securities and loans. Previously, Mr. Tombar worked in Goldman's Natural Resources Group in New York and Houston where he had direct coverage responsibility for a number of larger upstream oil and gas clients, executed a variety of transactions for private equity clients and private and public oil and gas companies, and developed M&A and financing expertise. Prior to working in the Natural Resources Group, Mr. Tombar was selected as one of four professionals charged with establishing Goldman's European Energy & Power Group based in London. Prior to that, Mr. Tombar worked in Goldman's E&P Principal Investment Area and Investment Banking Group based in New York. Mr. Tombar graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree (Cum Laude) in Applied Math from Harvard University.
