Biography

Mr. Andrew Coren serves as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Gatewood Capital Partners. Prior to this role, he was a Director at Duff & Phelps in their Alternative Asset Advisory practice. In this capacity, he advised a wide range of alternative asset investors on various financial reporting and operational matters, and specialized in the valuation of illiquid private equity, fixed income and derivative investments across all industries. Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Mr. Coren was a Vice President at CCMP Capital Advisors, a middle-market buyout and growth equity investor. Mr. Coren was a senior member of CCMP's finance, investor relations and portfolio management teams, responsible for covering portfolio activity, leading transactions, communicating with investors and ensuring fund compliance. He also helped oversee the management of JPMorgan Partners' (JPMorgan Chase's heritage alternative asset arm) portfolio, for which CCMP acted as investment advisor, and which included a diverse array of direct and managed alternative assets. He began his career as an Analyst at JPMorgan Chase. Mr. Coren graduated from Cornell University with a B.A. in Economics and Computer and Information Science.
