Biography
Mr. Konrad Walus is a Co-Founder and serves as Board Member at Aspect Biosystems. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Engineering at the University of British Columbia. He has broad research experience working in microsystems and nanotechnology with over 75 publications on these topics. Konrad serves on the Board of Directors for the Medical Device Development Centre, a non-profit incubator focusing on the commercialization of medical devices. He was awarded the 2004 Alberta Science and Technology Leaders of Tomorrow Award. He received his B.A.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Windsor and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computational Nanotechnology from the University of Calgary.
