David Nunez General Information

Biography

Mr. David Nunez served as a Partner at Investar Capital (Irving). David joined Investar in early 2012 to shape Investar Private Equity. He led the direct equity Investment efforts, was a member of the Investment Committee and had served in the Executive Committee of portfolio companies. With 20 years of professional investment experience David has a strong expertise in Private Equity and Investment Banking. Prior to Investar, he worked as Investment Director at Realza Capital and at Catalana de Iniciativas, two Spanish Private Equity Buy-Out Funds focused on the small end of the mid-market. He was responsible for the origination, execution and monitoring of investments through the Board of Directors of portfolio companies as well as for the international institutional investors fundraising. Previously, he worked as an Investment Banking M&A Associate in Salomon Brothers in London, as a senior investment analyst for Netjuice Capital and as an equity research analyst at Banco Santander de Negocios. David holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University as an ICO and Fulbright scholar and graduated class valedictorian in Business Administration from Universidad Complutense de Madrid
