David Sturdee Ph.D General Information

Biography

Dr. Sturdee joined Clairvest in 2001 and is responsible for domain research and investment origination, investment execution, and management. Before coming to Clairvest, he was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in its Toronto and Bangkok offices, providing strategic management consulting to companies in the health-care, financial services, telecommunications, and energy sectors. He received a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Toronto, an M.A. in philosophy from Simon Fraser University and an H.B.A. in philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University, where he was a gold medallist. Dr. Sturdee serves on the board of directors of Landauer Metropolitan, N-Brook Mortgage Group and Lyophilization Services of New England. He previously served on the board of directors of Integral Orthopedics, a former Clairvest portfolio company.
