Biography

Ms. Amy Knapp serves as Partner, Chief Operating Officer, Member of the Buyout Investment Committee at Corsair Capital. She also serves as a Board Member at University at Albany Foundation. She co-leads Corsair's ESG and DEI initiatives and serves as a member of the Buyouts and Infrastructure Investment Committees. She joined Corsair in 2001 and is based in New York. She has leadership responsibilities for the finance, legal, compliance, human talent, investor relations, information technology, and office management functions of Corsair. Prior to joining Corsair, she was an Associate with J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., where she was involved with the firm's role as sponsor of the first two Corsair funds raised. Previously, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the firm's capital markets audit and assurance practice. She is a certified public accountant and holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Albany, SUNY, and an M.B.A. from the New York University Stern School of Business. She serves on the Dean's Advisory Board for The University at Albany, SUNY's School of Business, and is a member of the NY Women's Forum.
