Biography

Mr. Gregory Gretsch is the Founding Partner and serves as Managing Director at Jackson Square Ventures. He serves as a Board Member at Jackbox Games. He also is an Angel Investor. He was a serial 3X Founder prior to becoming a professional investor. His most successful startup was Connectify, which was acquired by Kana, a leading customer support software company. He has been fortunate enough to lead early rounds in two companies that have reached the hallowed billion-dollar mark. His focus is on potential category-leading companies, including sales and marketing software, storage, and marketplaces. He is a Board Member of oDesk and Upwork. Previously, he was a Board Member at Sideqik and ToutApp. With more than two decades of experience in venture capital, he focuses his investments on potentially category-leading companies in categories like SaaS, Sales & Marketing, Consumer, and Marketplaces (including Upwork, Jackbox Games). Five of his early-stage investments have gone on to achieve exits and/or valuations in excess of $1 billion. Before entering venture capital, he was a serial entrepreneur. He served as Board Member at Strava.
