Biography

Mr. Antonio Bonchristiano serves as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at GP Investments. He also serves as a Board Member at G2D Investments. He is a Co-Founder and serves as a Chairman and Executive of Finance and Strategy at Akad Seguros. He also serves as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at GP-Act III Acquisition. Mr. Bonchristiano also served as Chairman at FoodFirst Global Restaurants. He served as Chief Executive Officer at GP Investments Acquisition Corporation. He served as Deputy Chairman at Spice Private Equity. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at BR Properties. He serves as a Board Member at Rimini Street. He joined GP Investments in 1993 and has been a Managing Director since 1995. Earlier, Mr. Bonchristiano was a Partner at Johnston Associates, a finance consultancy based in London, and worked for Salomon Brothers in London and New York. Currently, he serves as a member of the board of directors of AMBEV, GP Advisors, and SPICE. He is also on the board of several non-profit organizations, including Fundacao Bienal and Fundacao Estudar in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and John Carter Brown Library in Providence, RI, USA. Previously, he served as a member of the boards of directors of several companies including BHG, Estacio, ALL, CEMAR, Gafisa, Submarino, Equatorial, BR Malls, Tempo, and Magnesita Refratarios. Mr. Bonchristiano was also previously the Chief Financial Officer of SuperMar Supermercados and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Submarino. He holds a bachelor's degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford. He serves as the Deputy Chairman of Spice Private Equity. He served as a Board Member at American Beverage Corporation.
