Biography

Mr. Braden Bohrmann serves as Investment Committee Member at T1D Fund. He also serves as Board Member at Pando. He served as Board Member at gen.video, Talla and Averon. He co-founded and served as General Partner at Masthead Venture Partners. He serves as a Partner at Avalon Ventures. He also serves as Board Member at Joy and Orion Labs. He has over 20 years of experience as a venture capitalist and operating executive in both information technology and biotech. He currently is a director or observer of Avalon portfolio companies Afraxis, Backupify, Byliner, Carolus, Chart.io, Cloudant, Inc., Cloudkick (acquired by Rackspace), Indix, Kinvey, Korrelate, Loopit, Memrise, Pictela (acquired by AOL), Pingup, Selectable Media, Shelby, Simulmedia and Twinstrata. Previously he served as a general partner of Masthead, an early-stage venture capital firm that he co-founded in 1997. While at Masthead his investment activities focused on digital media and information technology companies including Chumby Industries, gen.video, Interesting, Liquid Machines, Nexaweb Technologies, and Tremor Media. Previously, he served as President and COO of Watson Technologies, a venture-capital-backed, privately held telecommunications hardware company, Board Member at Kaltura, Nanigans, and as CFO of Alpha-Beta Technology, a publicly held biotechnology company. Brady holds a B.S. in finance from Babson College.
