Biography

Ms. Cathy Guthrie serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at Ncontracts. She served as Chief People Officer at AlienVault. She served as Vice President of people at SpareFoot. She is a nationally recognized executive and business partner with a versatile career spanning more than 17 years in human resource leadership in privately held, start-up technology companies and other high-growth, publicly traded, mid-size organizations. While her passion is centered on developing and executing strategies promoting highly engaged, high-performance teams, she has managed all facets of people operations. Some of these include change management in rapidly evolving organizations, M&A integration efforts, learning and development, talent acquisition and performance management. Before joining AlienVault as the Chief People Officer, Cathy most recently served as the Vice President of People for SpareFoot, a consistently best place to work in Austin and the world's largest marketplace for self-storage and other moving partners. As a high-tech entrepreneurial organization, Cathy was the senior executive responsible for executing people practices that promote growth in revenue and market share while building a high-performance culture. While working for more than 7 years as the head of HR at Handango, a start-up mobile content provider, Cathy found her passion for developing highly engaged work cultures. Afterward, she went on to serve as the Director of HR at Southern Union Gas Services and Director of HR - Field Operations for Luminant Power Company. Cathy has also served as the Vice President of Human Resources for USA Compression, a growth-oriented master limited partnership with assets and employees throughout the country and one of the largest independent providers of natural gas compression services in the U.S.
