Biography
Mr. Robert Marshall is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Director at Selby Ventures. Mr. Marshall is also an angel investor. He served as Managing Director in BlueVine Ventures. With over 40 years of experience in Silicon Valley, he has acquired extensive startup, operations, and investment experience in high-technology companies. Prior to launching Selby, he was the Founder, President, and CEO of InfoGear Technology, a leading Internet appliance company. InfoGear was acquired by Cisco Systems. In the 20 years preceding InfoGear until December 1995, he was a senior executive at Tandem Computers and Diablo Systems. He was one of the co-founders of Tandem and served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Tandem was purchased by Compaq for well over $3 Billion. He currently serves on the board of directors of 3ware, Blue Pumpkin Software, Fabric7 Systems, OnSite Systems, Quicksilver Technology, Sierra Monitor Corporation, and Triformix. He holds a B.S.E.E. from Heald Engineering and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
