Henry Newman General Information

Biography

Mr. Henry Newman is a Co-Founder and serves as General Partner at Solstice Capital. He has over 35 years of venture capital investing, operations, and public accounting experience. He is a co-founder of Solstice Capital, which was founded in 1995 and has raised two early-stage venture funds with total capital commitments of $79M. For more than seven years, he was a Vice President of BancBoston Ventures Inc., a venture capital subsidiary of Bank of Boston. Previously, he held various financial management positions at the Bank of Boston and was a CPA at Coopers & Lybrand. He also serves as a Member of the Investment Advisory Committee at Commons Capital. He is a Director of Regenesis Biomedical and was formerly a Director of CodeRyte, CellzDirect, Lipton Corporate Childcare, and Proton Energy Systems, Inc. He graduated from Bowdoin College and received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
