Biography

Mr. Yair Snir serves as Managing Director at Dell Technologies Capital. He serves as Board Member at LayerX Security. He serves as Advisor at Cymulate. He serves as Board Member and Advisor at Iguazio and floLIVE. He also serves as Board Member at Swish.ai. Mr. Snir served as a Director of M&A and Business Development at Microsoft. He was a Board Member of CloudEndure. He served as Board Member at GuardiCore and Twistlock. Previously, he served as a Head of Corporate Strategy & Business Development at ECI Telecom. e leads venture investment activity in Europe and Israel. His responsibilities include sourcing, leading, and managing investments that support the full spectrum of Dell Technologies' strategic focus areas. Prior to joining Dell Technologies, he was Microsoft's Corporate Director of Business Development & M&A for Europe, managing the company's activity across Europe and Israel. Before Microsoft, he worked for ECI Telecom as Head of Corporate Strategy and Business Development. Prior to that, he was a senior strategy consultant at Rotem Strategy, one of Israel's leading consulting firms. Earlier in his career, he worked in various biotech and hi-tech roles where he established and managed R&D groups, authored patents, published scientific papers, and presented at global conferences. In addition to his venture capital investment activities, he has lectured at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC), Herzliya, Israel. He holds a BS in Computer Science and Computational Biology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, and an MBA from the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel.
