Biography

Mr. Baburam Wagle served as Founding Promotor at Everest Equity. He is an experienced hydro-power engineer with 35 years of experience in the hydropower sector. Currently, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Reliable Hydropower Company Pvt. Ltd. that is developing a 20 MW and a 35 MW hydropower project. He recently worked in the capacity of Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of Solu Khola Hydro-electricity Project (86 MW). He was responsible for the overall technical management of the company including detail design, tendering, contract negotiation, construction supervision, testing and commissioning of the project. He has also worked as the General Manager of Upper Trisuli-1 Hydropower Project (216MW) and as the project director of Upper Khudi-A (27.8MW) Hydro electricity project. He has already performed in the senior management of the Nepal Electricity Authority and Butwal Power Company Limited. Henceforth, he has extensive hydropower development project exposure of more than 15 different sizes of projects in Nepal. He possesses a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Roorkee, India) and a Masters in Water Resources Engineering from the Institute of Engineering (Pulchowk, Nepal).
