Biography

Mr. Luis Cabrera Marin is a Co-Founder & serves as an Investment Committee Member and Managing Member at Parliament Capital. Prior to founding PCM, he served as Treasurer, Head of Corporate Development, and Head of Investor Relations of EVERTEC Inc., (NYSE: EVTC), one of the largest payment processors in Latin America. He was a part of the Executive team that successfully completed an IPO followed by two secondary offerings raising over $1.5B in the capital markets. Before joining EVERTEC, he was a Special Advisor of EUROBANK. In that role, he assisted in the development of the business plan, capital plan, liquidity plan, financial models, and other procedures to address regulatory deficiencies prior to the bank's closure. Before EUROBANK, he was Portfolio Manager at UBS for all of UBS PR's open-end funds, money market funds, and IRA Funds. Prior to UBS, he spent 10 years at FirstBank Puerto Rico, (NYSE: FBP), among the top 50 Banks in the US. He was Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer, and Treasurer, responsible for managing a $6B investment portfolio and a $5B derivatives portfolio. He is a founding member of the Puerto Rico Investment Management Society and is a Member of the Board of Directors of Ashford Presbyterian Community Hospital, Accepta LLC, and Abartys Healthcare, LLC. He has a B.S. from the University of Sacred Heart (USC).
