Biography

Mr. Mike Glover is the Founder and serves as Managing Director & Principal Consultant at Callidus Solutions. Mr. Glover began his career in The City in 1987 with The Corporation of Lloyd's, gaining experience in both the Council Secretariat and the Regulatory Division with both technical and managerial responsibility. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and gained an MBA in Finance in 1991. In 1997, he became Group Company Secretary and Compliance Director for ACE European Group. In addition to the ongoing compliance activities, this period saw Mike oversee the regulatory complexities of acquisition and consolidation within ACE's Lloyd's and Company operations (now Chubb) and developed regulatory contacts around the world, overseeing the work of around 20 people. In 2003, Mike established Callidus and unlike many consultants in the London Insurance Market, immediately set about developing a team of professionals to support his clients. Mike is notable for his passion and energy for an aspect of business that many might consider rather dull; this, along with extreme attention to detail and over 30 years of experience makes Mike one of a small number of "go-to" people in the City for complex regulatory issues as well as the more routine compliance and corporate services that just need doing.
