Biography

Mr. Sanjot Malhi serves as a Partner at Northzone Ventures. He serves as a Board Member at Nivoda & Finom. He served as Director at Matrix Partners India. Having grown up in Europe, he attended the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani in India for undergraduate studies, from where he graduated in three and half years having earned a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (honors). He then went on to earn an MBA from Yale University, where he was the first Silver Scholar from India, as well as a Dean's Merit Scholar and a Joseph Wright Alsop Memorial Scholar, in addition to being awarded the TATA endowment scholarship. He has experience across 15+ industries in India, the United States, and Europe. He has worked across Consumer goods, Healthcare, Information Technology, Industrial goods, and Financial services, among others. His work has included growth strategy, M&A, performance improvement, market entry, turnaround strategy as well go-to-market execution. During the course of his career, he has had a wide variety of exposure to companies in various stages of their lifecycle; including setting up completely new businesses, helping grow fledgling up-starts to stabilizing and re-invigorating large enterprises.
