Biography

Mr. Ted Page is a Co-Founder and serves as Principal at Captains of Industry. Ted has more than 25 years of experience building brands and creating memorable content-driven campaigns for clients ranging from Dunkin Donuts to First Wind and CERES. Ted leads the creative development process at Captains, acting as a kind of master chef to ensure the agency's work is always tasty and memorable. Page won a Telly Award for "The Institute for Backup Trauma" starring John Cleese-a web campaign featured by the Content Marketing Institute as a turning point for viral video. Ted wrote the script for "First, Do No Harm," a patient safety film that's been rated a classic by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. Ted's non-fiction stories and articles have been published in Boston Magazine and the Boston Globe Sunday Magazine, as well as numerous online industry publications and blogs including "MarketingProfs" and "Renewable Energy World." Ted began his career as a copywriter with the McCann-Erickson advertising agency in New York City, where he worked on accounts such as AT&T and Lufthansa. Prior to landing his job at McCann, Ted performed with the Medicine Show Theater Ensemble in New York in a production of Cole Porter's "Red, Hot and Blue," and he was one of the worst waiters in the entire city. Ted holds a BA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
