Biography

Mr. Elliot Royce was the Founder and served as a Managing Member of Royce Alpha Advisors. He served as the Managing Partner of Fund Investments at AlpInvest Partners. He served as the Managing Director of Allianz Private Equity. He joined AlpInvest Partners in 2007 from Allianz Private Equity Partners where he led the US investment activities and was a member of the global investment and management committees since 2002. Previously, Mr. Royce worked at GE Equity, the private equity arm of General Electric, where his experience included both fund investing and leading teams investing directly in venture capital, growth equity and LBO deals in both the US and Europe. Previous professional experience includes strategic consulting with McKinsey in Europe, corporate finance/M&A with Dillon Read and CSFB in both the US and Europe, and emerging markets investing with Aberdeen. He currently represents AlpInvest on numerous advisory boards. Mr. Royce received an AB in Government magna cum laude from Harvard College and an MBA with distinction from INSEAD.
