Biography

Mr. Prashant Premkumar is the Co-Founder and serves as Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager at Buffalo Thorn Capital Management. Prior to founding Buffalo Thorn Capital Management, he was a Director at Consilium Investment Management, covering a wide range of sectors in emerging markets. Before Consilium, he was a Senior Analyst at East Bridge Capital Management, an India-focused hedge fund. He began his career as a leveraged finance investment banker at UBS Investment Bank in New York and subsequently worked for EM-focused hedge funds, including Emerging Sovereign Group, an affiliate of Tiger Management. He graduated cum laude from Yale University in 2003 with a double major in Economics and Mechanical Engineering.
