Biography

Mr. Steve Hinchman served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Scala Energy. He served as the president and CEO at HighMount Exploration & Production. With 35 years of experience in upstream oil and gas, he founded Scala Energy to pursue his passion for technical excellence, leadership, and the disciplined exploitation of economic reservoirs. His approach blends executive intelligence with a technical edge and a tenacious focus on execution. Prior to founding Scala Energy, he served as CEO of HighMount E&P, COO of Callon Petroleum and EVP of Marathon Oil Company. To this day, he also serves as Chairman of the Board of Interfaith Care Partners, an educational, nonprofit organization helping congregations, businesses and individuals within the United States.
