Biography

Mr. Albin Kurti is the Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director & Board Member at Propel Funeral Partners. He co-founded and served as a Managing Director at Propel Investments. He has extensive experience in sourcing, screening and executing acquisitions and actively managing business operations. He commenced his career in the insolvency and corporate finance division of Arthur Andersen, where he qualified as a chartered accountant and worked in Melbourne and Brunei. In 2000, he moved to Sydney and joined Deutsche Asset Management and, in 2007, he co-led the management buy-out of the private capital division of Deutsche Bank. He has led, co-led or been a key investment team member on a range of mergers and acquisitions ('M&A') transactions for the former Manager and has been a director of numerous private companies. He played an important role in the sale of Bledisloe Holdings to InvoCare in 2011 and the IPO of Propel. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Masters in Business Administration from the Victoria University of Technology.
