Eric Thunem General Information

Biography

Mr. Eric Thunem served as Managing Director & Co-Head of the Marketing and Client Services team at Portfolio Advisors. Previously, he was a Managing Director of Groton Partners, a merchant banking firm, where he was responsible for the origination, structuring and distribution of third-party alternative investment vehicles. Before Groton, he was a Principal and senior banker for Benedetto, Gartland & Company, where he spent nine years in fund-raising and marketing of private equity funds to North American and European institutional investors. Prior to that, he worked in the private placements group at Chase Securities (now JP Morgan), and as a financial analyst and engineering technician in the oil and gas industry. He holds a B.A. from the University of Connecticut and M.B.A. from Columbia University.
