Biography

Mr. Ahmed Mannai Founded Mannai Corporation. Mr. Ahmed Mannai was the Founding Director of Qatar National Bank, Qatar Insurance Company, Gulf Publishing and Printing Organisation - publishers of the English newspaper "The Gulf Times" in Qatar and the Bahrain based international investment bank, Investcorp Bank. In recognition of his contribution towards the economic and industrial co-operation between Qatar and France , Mr. Ahmed Mannai was appointed "Commandeur de la Legion d'Honneur" by the French Government in April 1986. Earlier, Mr. Ahmed Mannai was also awarded the "Gold Medal of the Town of Paris " by Mr. Jacques Chirac. In January 1990, Mr. Ahmed Mannai was declared the "Gulf Businessman of the Year."
