David Watt General Information

Biography

Mr. David Watt served as Managing Director, Investment Banking at Jarden. He also serves as a Partner at Pencarrow Private Equity. He joined the firm in 2007 after five years in the derivatives practice of a leading London law firm and since joining has advised a broad range of New Zealand and international clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestments, equity offerings, and debt issues and capital raisings. Clients he has advised include Auckland International Airport, Contact Energy, Credit Agricole, Diligent Board Member Services, Fletcher Building, Pacific Equity Partners, Pyne Gould Corporation, Rabobank, and SKYCITY Entertainment. He advised Pyne Gould Corporation, MARAC, CBS Canterbury and Southern Cross Building Society on their merger to form only New Zealand controlled, listed financial services group. He holds Bachelor's degrees in Commerce (Finance) and Law (Honours) from the University of Otago.
