Biography

Mr. James Edge serves as Founding Partner at Cornerstone Valuation. Mr. Edge is the founder and president of Cornerstone Financial Management, Inc. and has been actively involved in financial and investment activities for over twenty-five years. He has extensive experience in managing companies on an interim basis and has been involved in the acquisition and disposition of several companies. Through Cornerstone Mr. Edge performs valuations for company split-ups, mergers, estate and gift tax purposes, partner admissions, and family planning purposes. He has qualified as an expert witness in Virginia. Mr. Edge's professional background encompasses careers in the banking, real estate, and accounting fields. He earned a Bachelors of Science degree from Hampden-Sydney College and a Master in Business Administration from Rutgers University. He also holds a Virginia real estate broker's license and earned the CCIM designation (Certified Commercial-Investment Member) awarded by the National Association of Realtors.
