Biography

Mr. Sam Clayman serves as a Partner at Asymmetric Capital Partners. Prior to joining the founding Asymmetric team, he was a Vice President at private equity firm Sycamore Partners, where he focused on control-oriented investments primarily in retail companies. He serves as Board Member at Headstart Health. Previously, he worked at Apax Partners on the Global Alpha team, investing across the capital structure in U.S. and European businesses. Prior to Apax, he worked at KKR in the Capital Solutions Group, employing a similarly flexible investment mandate. He received an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a B.A. in Economics with Distinction from Yale University, where he played on the Men's Varsity Squash team.
