Gordon Cho General Information

Biography

Mr. Gordon Cho served as Managing Director, Seoul, South Korea at The Rohatyn Group. Mr. Cho focuses on the group's private equity transactions across Asia and especially South Korea. Mr. Cho has broad experience in the consumer mid-market buy-out space. He also raised and manages TRG Korea's first local private equity fund. Currently he is on the Board of Directors of portfolio company BHC in Korea, a roll-up of five restaurant chains. Mr. Cho's total private equity experience spans over 17 years, having transacted across Asia. Prior to joining TRG in December 2013, he was a member of the Citi Venture Capital International (CVCI) investment team from 2000. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Cho worked for Korean Chaebols Samsung Electronics and LG in the capacity of strategic planning and M&A, respectively. He completed his graduate studies from the Yonsei University's International Business program in Korea and was a visiting student at London Business School. Mr. Cho holds a B.A. in Commerce Studies from the University of Western Ontario.
