Biography

Mr. Josh Parrott serves as Managing Director & Director of Advisory Services-Southeast Region at Versus Capital Advisors. He served as Managing Director of Business Development & Investor Relations at Penso Advisors. Prior to joining our firm, he was Managing Director of Business Development at Penso Advisors, where he led the sourcing and servicing of client relationships for their macro hedge fund strategies. From 2014 to 2020, Josh was a Director for AQR Capital's Business Development team in the Southeast, covering a variety of intermediary, family office and advisory clients. In 2004, he helped launch Hatteras Investment Partners, where he became a voting member of their investment committee and allocated across private investments and hedge fund strategies. Josh began his career as a financial advisor, working at Morgan Stanley and Bear Stearns. Josh received a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont and earned his designation as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) in 2005. Josh and his family reside in Raleigh, North Carolina.
