Biography

Mr. Seth Barkett is a Co-Founder and serves as a Partner at Pondera Holdings. He serves as a Board Member at CandyCo and Wag'n Tails Mobile Conversions. He has been investing in public and private companies for the past 15 years. He is a portfolio manager at Groveland Capital, an activist hedge fund. Previously, he was a portfolio co-manager at Vela Capital, a long/short, small-cap hedge fund. Prior to joining Vela, he was an associate at Storm Lake Capital, a private investment affiliate of Whitebox Advisors that focused on management buyouts, recapitalizations, and corporate restructurings of distressed automotive suppliers. Mr. Barkett began his career as a financial analyst at Resource Land Holdings, a private equity firm with alternative investments in natural resource-related properties and businesses. He received a B.A. in economics from Wheaton College and also currently serves on the board of Air T, Inc. (NASDAQ: AIRT). He serves as Board Member at Avanti Equine Veterinary Partners.
