Biography
Mr. Rod Selkirk serves as a Partner at Bridgepoint Group. He was previously head of Hermes Private Equity and also the Chairman of the BVCA, the British Private Equity Venture Capital Association from 2006 to 2007. Before originally joining Bridgepoint in 1990 he had worked for 3i from 1981, based in Bristol, London, and Boston, USA. Mr. Rod has a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Nottingham and an MBA from the London Business School. Before re-joining Bridgepoint in 2009, he had been the Chief Executive of Hermes Private Equity, with responsibility for investing the private equity allocation of the BT Pension Scheme. He was also Chairman of the BVCA, the British Private Equity Venture Capital Association from 2006 - 2007. Before originally joining Bridgepoint in 1990 he had worked for 3i from 1981, based in Bristol, London, and Boston, USA. He also serves as a Director at County NatWest Ventures.
