Biography

Mr. Alan Leavitt is a Co-Founder & serves as Chief Executive Officer at New School American Cheese. He served as Board Member at Barnana. He served as a Managing Director at Trently Advisors. He was a Board Member at JC's Pie Pops. He was a Vice President at Beach Point Capital Management, a multi-billion dollar investment manager specializing in credit-related investments. While at Beach Point, Alan managed several illiquid positions, including strategic transaction analysis, board observation and negotiating amendments and waivers. He also led workout negotiations and served on ad hoc committees for public and private investments in the US and Europe. Prior to working at Beach Point, Alan practiced law in the New York and Los Angeles offices of Latham & Watkins LLP. While at Latham, Alan completed a wide variety of financial transactions with a focus on corporate bankruptcy and restructuring. He earned his B.A. at Tufts University with a major in Political Science. He earned his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
