Biography

Mr. Krishna Visvanathan is a Co-Founder & serves as a Partner at Crane Venture Partners. He serves as a Board Observer at Mycelial. He also serves as a Board Member at Forecast and Virtuoso. He served as a Board Observer at RadiumOne. He serves as a Board Member at Netronome and Silverflow. He served as Board Member at AlertFusion. He has been actively engaged in international start-ups and Venture Capital investing for over 15 years. He joined DFJ Esprit in 2009 and focuses primarily on Internet, mobile, and networking-related businesses. He was responsible for DFJ Esprit's investments in Achica, Qosmos, Radium One, Netronome Systems, Cambridge Semiconductor, Light Blue Optics, MediaFed, and MoviePilot. He also led DFJ Esprit's investments in Icera (acquired by Nvidia) and The Cloud Networks (acquired by BskyB). Prior to joining DFJ Esprit, Krishna spent ten years with 3i's Technology Venture Capital team where he was responsible for investments in Blue Lithium Inc (acquired by Yahoo!), Ezurio (acquired by Laird), Ubinetics (acquired by CSR plc and Aeroflex), Fastnet Systems (acquired by Redstone plc) and BTN (acquired by C&W). He started his career at Ernst & Young before founding Optika Fibre Technologies, a display technology start-up based in SE Asia.
