Biography

Mr. Mark Christopher serves as Partner & Member of The Client Services Team at Hg. He is responsible for leading investor coverage and fundraising in the Americas. He served as Managing Director, Investor Relations at The Carlyle Group. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Christopher was a Managing Director of Lazard Frères and a founding team member of the firm's Private Fund Advisory Group which provides placement agency services for private equity funds. Prior to this time, Mr. Christopher was a Director in the Private Equity Group at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Christopher received his M.B.A. with honors from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and his Bachelor of Business Administration, summa cum laude, from the University of Memphis.
