Biography

Mr. Allen Potter is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Director at Allied Growth Strategies & Management. Mr. Potter served as Managing Director at AGSM Ventures. He has over 38 years of experience in business and fund development as well as executive and personnel management. Prior to co-founding Allied Growth Strategies & Management in 2005, He was the President and Founder of NIS Group, a business development and technology consulting firm. The NIS Group helped entrepreneurs launch start-up businesses under the support and guidance of professional advising teams. In 1988 He co-founded NIS Computer Solutions, a provider of computer hardware and software to small and medium size business. NIS Computer Solutions grew to over 35 technology professionals and became a Novel Gold Service Provider, Microsoft Solution Provider, Cisco Certified Partner, IBM Business Partner, Compaq Educational Service Provider and earned Department of Defense security clearances for both in-house and on-site government contract services. The Xerox division was added in 1996, and NIS became the exclusive sales agent for Xerox Copiers and Engineering products and was responsible for over 6500 premise business accounts in Central Pennsylvania. He sold NIS Computer Solutions to Link Computer Corporation of Altoona in February of 2001. In late 2001 He founded Superior Products Global, an international marketing company with the worldwide distribution rights for an innovative line of ceramic based heat and fire resistant coatings. That same year He co-founded Thermolose Technologies, Inc., a manufacturer of a line of patented fire resistant polymer products. In 1998 He was nominated for the Central Pa. Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was awarded the Sam Walton Business Leader Award.
