George Westerkamp General Information
Biography
Mr. George Westerkamp served as Managing Director, Head, Investor Relations, and Member of the Operating Committee at AlpInvest Partners. He also serves as Managing Director, Investment Solutions at The Carlyle Group. From 2000 to 2010 he was a Managing Director in the AlpInvest Co-Investment team, and from 2000 to 2012 he was also a member of the Investment Committee. George joined AlpInvest from its predecessor, Parnib, where he was focused on middle market buyout transactions. Prior to his position at Parnib, George was based in Singapore, where he was responsible for the asset finance activities of NIB Capital in Asia. George received an MSc in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
