David Schellenberg General Information

Biography

Mr. David Schellenberg serves as Managing Director at Highland West Capital Partners. He also serves as Chairman at Phoenix Molecular Designs. He is a seasoned business leader with a proven track record in the specialty aviation, aerospace and defense industries. As CEO, he and his management team were responsible for growing Conair Group Inc. into the world's largest aerial firefighting company and for developing the RJ85 Airtanker. As the founding president of Cascade Aerospace Inc., aircraft maintenance and modification business, he and his team successfully grew the company from a startup to 700 employees before its recent sale. In 2012, he was honored with the CEO of the Year award by Business in Vancouver. Prior to joining the aviation and aerospace industries, he worked as a managing director with the Jim Pattison Group corporate office, gaining valuable experience in accounting finance, banking, acquisitions, insurance, and business performance metrics. Outside the office, He is involved in various foundations and organizations in the community, while retaining a long term membership in the Young Presidents' / World President's Organization.
