Biography

Dr. Harbeen Arora served as Advisor at Blackrun Ventures. Dr Harbeen Arora is a global leader, educationist, philanthropist, spiritualist, author, social entrepreneur and businesswoman. She is the Global Chairperson of the ALL Ladies League, which has 500 chapters and more than 30,000 members worldwide, and also the Global Chair of the Women Economic Forum, which holds major conferences in India and other countries with the aim of furthering economic progress for women. Dr Arora is the Chancellor of Rai University in Ahmedabad, Rai Technology University in Bangalore and Jharkhand Rai University in Ranchi, India. She is the author of "Creative Living: Discovering Your Beautiful Path and Lifestyle toward Happiness and Wellbeing," a work published in the USA in 2010; and co-authored "Dawn of a New Vibrant India via Education, Educare, E-Learning, Equity, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Empowerment. As a Spiritualist, Dr Arora has interpreted the universal teachings of Sai Baba, in a limited edition book, entitled, "The Seven Sacred Sai Values Innate in Every Human Being: How to Apply Them in Our Daily Lives for Happiness, Peace and Well-being." Dr. Arora also leads NGOs, including the Center for Public Policy, which researches and advises the government on issues that affect civil society; Amaanat, which supports India's artisanal heritage; and Aspirations India, a movement for youth. Her business interests include real estate, angel funding, impact investing, social entrepreneurship and projects related to infrastructure, energy, environment and agriculture. Dr. Arora is an Economics graduate from Delhi University, and holds a Masters from King's College, London University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and a PhD from Sorbonne Nouvelle, University of Paris III.
