Previously, Mr. Ruth was a partner of Halyard Capital. He previously served on the Boards of American Consolidated Media, TCP Communications and ypOne Holdings. Previously, he was an investment banker in the Media & Telecommunications Group at CIBC World Markets. Prior to CIBC, Mr. Ruth worked in investment banking with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions at UBS Securities, Butler Chapman & Co., and Alex. Brown and Sons. During this period, he executed a broad range of significant transactions in the media, communications, general industrial and financial institutions industries. Mr. Ruth received a B.S. in Business Administration with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
