Biography

Ms. Amy Young serves as Administrative Partner & Chief Financial Officer at Startup Capital Ventures. Ms. Young has worked in various capacities in the financial industry for more than 25 years, including most recently for the last ten years for Startup Capital Ventures. She is currently Administrative Partner and Director of Finance for Startup Capital Ventures, where her responsibilities include primary oversight for the firm's finance, portfolio documentation, audit, compliance, reporting, and investor relations activities. Prior to Startup Capital Ventures, She was Vice President and Division Manager of Silicon Valley Bank, where her responsibilities included oversight of Loan Services Division, including Loan Documentation, Collateral and Loan Accounting. Prior to that, she held increasingly responsible positions within Silicon Valley Bank, including as a paralegal for the Bank's Legal Division working on various banking, loan and securities matters. She joined the firm in 2005 as a Fund Administrator and then became Controller for the firm in 2008.
