Biography

Dr. Barbara Weber is a Founding Partner & serves as a Board Member at B Capital Partners. She also serves as Investment Committee Member at Palisade Investment Partners. She has over 12 years of direct and fund investment experience in private equity with a particular focus on infrastructure and clean energy, gained during several years with Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, PolyTechnos, and, since 2003, with B Capital Partners AG. She previously worked for the Private Sector Development Group of the World Bank in Washington DC in Russia. Barbara lectures at the University of Zurich and the European Business School and can refer to a long list of national and international publications including three books on infrastructure investment. She also served as a Board Member at London Pensions Fund Authority. She has experience in infrastructure investments. She wrote her Ph.D. in Economics at Harvard University and the University of St. Gallen. She holds an MSc in Business and Operations Research from Warwick University and a post-graduate degree in International Relations from Mannheim University.
