Biography

Mr. Marshall Haines serves as Managing Director at STG Partners. He served as Board Member at Shearwater Systems. He served as Non-Executive Chairman at System C. He joined the firm from Williston Financial Group, where he was Chief Operating Officer. He also spent five years with TPG Capital's San Francisco office, where he was a Principal. During this period, he led deals in the areas of financial and technology-enabled services. Prior to his position with TPG Capital, He was a Principal with Bain Capital, Inc., in both Boston and San Francisco. During his 10 years with Bain, he worked on deals in multiple market sectors including technology, healthcare and distribution. He has an MBA degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
