Biography

Mr. Aleksandar Ivanovic founded & served as Chief Executive Officer at Webcom (Wisconsin). Under Mr. Ivanovic leadership, without any outside investments, Webcom Inc. has grown into a global leader in the area of configuration, pricing and quotation software. He managed to profitably grow Webcom, Inc. every year since its inception, despite the dot.com bubble burst. Prior to founding Webcom, Ivanovic held several engineering positions of increased responsibility at Rockwell International where he was responsible for highly configurable automation and control products, as well as for the business systems supporting those products. Seeing his engineers spend more time and effort on the administrative tasks and paperwork than on the actual engineering made Ivanovic seek a better way. This led him to develop an online catalog. Configuration, quotation and proposal generation capabilities were added shortly thereafter. Ivanovic holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
