Biography

Mr. Frank Izzo serves as a Chief Executive Officer at MSouth Capital. Mr. Frank Izzo serves as Chief Executive Officer at MSouth Equity Partners. Mr. Frank Izzo served as Managing Director at Fidus Investment. He served as a Managing Director at Ares Capital. Prior to joining Ares, He served as a Managing Director at Allied Capital Corporation. He has more than 25 years of experience investing in debt and equity in middle-market companies. Prior to joining Fidus, Mr. Izzo was a private consultant to several lower middle-market companies. Prior to that he was a Managing Director at Ares Mgmt, LLC and managed the firm's Washington, DC, office from 2010 to 2014. Mr. Izzo was a Managing Director at Allied Capital from 2001 to 2010 and invested senior, mezzanine, and control equity in lower middle-market companies. He was also the Chairman of the Credit Committee for Allied's family of senior debt vehicles from 2008 to 2010. Those vehicles had approximately $2.5B in assets. Mr. Izzo was a Director at Banc One Capital Markets from 1999 to 2001, providing corporate finance solutions to middle-market customers in the Southwest, and began his career at Bank of America (fka NationsBank of Texas) managing a team of middle market lenders in Dallas. Mr. Izzo earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame (Accounting) and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin (Finance).
