Biography

Mr. Peter Wagner is a Co-Founder and serves as a Partner of Wing Venture Partners. He serves as Board Member at Wherobots. He serves as a Board Member at Gong. He served as Board Member at BlueJeans and Lumigo. He serves as Board Member at Pinecone, Hydrolix, Upsolver, Juvo, Tigera, Ordr, and StepZen. He serves as a Board Observer at Valtix. He has led investments in dozens of early-stage companies, more than 25 of which have gone on to complete IPOs or successful acquisitions. These companies include Nimble Storage, Fusion-io, Redback Networks, Riverbed, Arrowpoint Communications, Infinera, Peribit, Topspin, Omneon, and most recently, Opower, to name a few. He served as Board Member at Acetti Software and Cumulus. He currently works with a private company portfolio that includes Blue Jeans Network, Qwilt, Jut, Platfora, CloudPhysics, Primary Data, and Moogsoft, among others. Before founding Wing, he helped lead Accel Partners for 15 years as Managing Partner. Prior to joining Accel, he was a line manager at Silicon Graphics, responsible for several generations of digital media and graphics workstation products. He previously worked with McKinsey and Company and began his career as a physicist working in nuclear fusion research and aerospace. He holds an AB in Physics from Harvard College, summa cum laude, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. He served as Board member at Aporeto.
