Biography

Mr. Kevin Brown serves as Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer at Transformation Capital. He also served as Chief Financial Officer at Charlesbank Capital Partners and CFO Consultant at Hyperplane Venture Capital. He joined Harvard Private Capital Group, the predecessor to Charlesbank, as the controller in 1997. He previously worked as accounting manager at Harvard Management Company and Liberty Financial Services. He is a licensed CPA , he received a BS in accounting from Stonehill College and an MBA from Suffolk University. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs and the Private Equity CFO Association. Prior to joining Leerink Capital, Kevin was the CFO at Charlesbank Capital Partners. Prior to his role as CFO, Kevin served as that firm's Senior Vice President of Accounting and Finance and was a member of that firm since 1998. Prior to Charlesbank, he served as Controller of Harvard Private Capital Group (Charlesbank predecessor firm) and began his tenure at Harvard Management Company in 1994 as Accounting Manager. Prior to Harvard, Kevin served as the Accounting Manager at Liberty Financial Services. Kevin is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Massachusetts. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Stonehill College and an MBA from Suffolk University where he served as a member of the Suffolk University Accounting Advisory Board.
