Biography

Mr. Gabriel Caillaux serves as Co-President, Managing Director, Head of Climate, Head of Business EMEA and Member of the Executive, Investment, and Portfolio Committees at General Atlantic. He served as a Board Member at Greensill Capital, Santander Asset Management, Sézane and Argus Media and Network International. He joined General Atlantic's London office in 2004 and has since helped build out GA's investment focus across the greater European region, extending into Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He focuses on the firm's investments in sectors including Financial Services, Business Services, and Internet & Technology. He serves on the board of directors at ManoMano, Axel Springer Digital Classifieds, Citco, and Privalia. He previously worked at Merrill Lynch from 2000 to 2004 in the Telecoms, Media, and Technology division in London and New York. He holds a BS and MS in Business Administration and Finance from ESCP-EAP European School of Management. He is an Angel Investor.
