Biography

Mr. Julian Gething serves as Chief Restructuring Officer at Thames Water. Mr. Julian Gething serves as Partner and Managing Director at AlixPartners. Julian has 29 years' of experience specializing in complex financial and operational restructurings, refinancings, and M&A advisory. He was previously a Partner at Talbot Hughes McKillop where he led several restructurings and refinancings, including the financial restructuring of Endeka Ceramics as Director and CRO. Before this, Julian spent 15 years at Arthur Andersen, latterly as a Partner in Chicago. Julian was appointed Chairman of Endeka Ceramics in December 2015. He has a BA degree from Newcastle University, a Masters in Management from London Business School, and is a chartered accountant.
